Textile And Child Labor During The Industrial Revolution

The industrial revolution took place from 18th to 19th century. It was a period which resulted in rural societies of Europe and America transforming into industrial and urban societies. It also lead to a rise in usage of machinery. It began in Britain and many inventions were British. Textile was more dominant in the industrial revolution. The factories became a symbol of industrial revolution as growing numbers of people toiled for long hours working in the factories. The industrial revolution depleted natural resources and increased child labour. Children were paid less than 10 cents an hour. Many children had physical deformities and some children died to injuries from the machines or from execs work and lack of breaks. Children where whipped
