The 14 point plan was a plan made by President Wilson, involving undo the M.A.I.N causes of war. As the name implies there were 14 parts to the plan and wanted to stop future wars from happening. An idea from this plan was to start a league of nations that would help stop future wars, but the big four denied the 14 point plan and wanted to weaken Germany. The Big Fours idea for the Treaty of Versailles was to weaken and punish Germany for starting the war. The Treaty included a War Guilt Clause, that made Germany accept responsibility for starting the war. Germany was also restricted with the size of its army, no air force or submarines, and demilitarize the lost territories.
