in their motherland, people are able to live again when they step foot in this country. Many people have their complaints about illegal immigrants, but no one stops to wonder they tried to escape their. America is a place where dreams come true. Why would anyone want to live in a country where they are being demeaned and victimized? Most Americans take their rights and liberties for granted and don’t realize how blessed they are to be living in these current situations. Other countries don’t offer their citizens these same reason, so it isn’t a surprise why people are flocking the immigration centers for a single chance to live in America. I know that my mom’s sister’s family are filing to come to the U.S. She is blind and her husband is deaf. They also have three boys. My mother filed for their immigration so that my uncle and aunt can be within reach in case of emergencies and my cousins could have a better place to learn. Their current living conditions are not the best, and we are certain that once they come here that they will be able to lead a better life. This is the true American Dream. This is the dream that every American has for themselves and their family. The American Dream isn’t defined by a cozy house surrounded by a white picket fence and living there with your family and a golden lab. It’s defined for the hopes of a safe future for you and your family and doing what makes you happy.
People from other countries leave their entire lives behind to pursue their dreams here. To take a step like that, people need to have absolute trust and faith in America. They are able to see America as a saving light rescuing them from the surrounding darkness. America serves as a platform for success. Students come here on student visas in hopes of a better college education, international companies send their employees over for better business and aspiring artists have tons of opportunities to showcase their talents. Residential citizens don’t think about the way others view our country.
