The Refugee Crisis The american refugee crisis has been going on for a while now and it has changed the lives of many families fleeing from countries like syria, afghanistan, and iraq. The U.S. has been helping the refugee crisis since the beginning but I feel like the U.S. has been putting the best effort they can, while taking care of our own country's problems. Many refugees are being welcomed to the U.S. every year but not every refugee makes it in nor makes it alive. Many have died trying to escape their home countries and crossing borders and oceans. According to Smithsonian almost 6,000 refugees died crossing the Mexico-U.S. border and that's only one region of the world where refugees are dying. It’s important that we give the refugees
