In the Human Rights section the Constitution defines what rights each member of the state is entitled to. An example would be that when you turn eighteen you earn the right to vote in any election. Our Government is divided into three sections which is the Legislative, the Executive and the Judiciary branch. The Legislative is made up of a group of people who have the power to make new laws or adjust existing ones. They may also be able to alter the Constitution, but it is harder to alter than the other laws because it cannot be altered by most of the members agreeing with the alterations. One of our strengths would be that our constitution has a strong government because of the checks and balances system. The system of checks and balances are a separation of powers which I believe is one of the most important aspect of our government. Creating the Constitution was very necessary because the original thirteen colonies has the articles of confederation which had no unity amongst the people and the government, the government also did not have any real authority to do anything. Our founding fathers wanted to create a system that would be durable and that would be able to work for a long time. Our constitution was designed to be able to be applied to many future generations. They also created the constitution because they did not want to live in the monarchy style of government anymore that they had with the British. They all had agreed that they wanted a government that made the people feel safe which is why they allowed the people to be able to elect
