Summary
The Babylon revisited is a story about Charlie who wants to take Honoria, his child. At the story, Charlie is a success businessman. After he has a lot of money, he go to Paris to use the money with only have thinking happy. He drunk all time, drunk and made himself be dependence with alcohol. What have he done causing his wife death and the money was lost only by few years. He falldown in griefness. Bur after that, he want to pay back all. He recover from alcohol and become a success man again in Prague. He want to move her child to him from Marion.

When we see Charlie’s live, he is a “change man”.
At the past, he’s a succesfull man. After have much money, he chose to goes to Paris. He and Helen throwing all money. Charlie have drink. Only by many years he lost everything. He act causing his wife death. No more drink and lost her guardian for Honoria. He was in dependence alcohol. In the next, he conscious that and tried to change his live again, also because Honoria. He recover himself from his alcohol dependence for a long time and for earnest Marion. This is his best act. From the story “Babylon Revisited”, after he had downfall, he rise and we see his success again Prague. This is also the best from him. Best change was he done. Lost the important things of his life, wife and child, make Charlie is a reform man although he always haunted by the past, but that what made change him. Charlie is an entrepreneur in America and next in Prague. But he is bad man in manner something. He easy to using money without thinking for the future and throw it easy with his wife.
-is a strong man.
Charlie can recover from alcohol dependence, whereas it is so difficult to do and sometime the people who opiumness can’t be save.
-is a man who can see a live in his fall down.
He knows that all things were lost but he brave to change his bad life and he was success. In this case, he has good manners.

It showed in his act to receive his legal grad unship from Marion.
-Charlie is a man who sees the good sides in bad situation.
Marion Peter
-is a tall woman with worried eyes, who have once possessed a fresh American loveliness. She is pretty. She looks as a person’s resentful who difficult to forget what which happened with her sister. It showed from hardness herself to give back Honoria, his nephew, to Charlie. She does it because on his responsibility on the death of his sister. She is so resentful to Charlie. She love her sister, and really to blame Charlie for all. Save it as his wrongness. She always dislike to him.
Honoria Wales
-is a little girl of Charlie. She is much in spoken and smart. It showed when she met her father and speaking with him. Honoria is funny girl. Everybody loves him. Honoria love his father and want to live together.
Lincoln Peter
-husband of Marion. He is agree with what Charlie want to take Honoria with him. He is best uncle for Honoria.
Ducan Schaeffer and Lorrain
Quarrles
-Ducan, a friend from college. Lorrain a lovely, pale blonde of thirty; they, who want to hang with their old friend while he’s in town, Charlie. They are so confidant. They so friendly with Honoria at their first meet. Well, they are drunkard.
Alix
-is the hotel Ritz bartender who along with the head barman, Paul links Charlie to his wild Paris life. Charlie know him because at the bar.
Symbol

-is a place where Charlie spent her important time when he have much money there. When he lost everything he also at there. Bar Ritz ia an important place which save Charlie’s moment life, like a memories place of Charlie, or witness.
The Doll
-at the story(2) explain that Charlie had give her child a doll. It is symbolic of parenthood, shows that at time parents’s love for his child by gift, not only doll but also anything.

-is a ward man. He had to go very “close” to see the old man with enormous wings after throw the crabs into the sea. And he is “ran” to get his wife. He not wants to see that old man alone.

-is Peloy’s wife. She is active woman. Cutting some bunches, bought things, and killing crabs.

-the old man with enormous wings. He is familiar. The old man is weak because he is old. He have been coming for the child but when he plying in the rain, the rain knocked him down. The old man have incomprehensible dialeg.
