John remembers staring at the seat in front of him while holding his wife's hand very tightly. His wife being Cynthia Lennon. He was so stressed because he was afraid of what could happen. He was thinking about all the things that could go wrong and if they wouldn’t like them. As Paul remembered the pilot saying over the intercom, “Tell the boys there's a big crowd waiting for them”. Soon enough, The Beatles had landed in New York Kennedy Airport. There were about 13,000 thousand teenagers crammed into the airport to be able to see the famous band from the United Kingdom first step foot on United States soil. The whole Nation went berserk over The Beatles. The band had the same amount of protection that the King and Queen of England. They had about 100 bodyguards near them at all times. Some of the officers had to wear ear protection because of how loud the screaming was from the fans. From all of this commotion people created the word; Beatlemania. This band came together by a show called The X-Factor. All five members auditioned for the show as solos, but a man named Simon Cowell noticed a very good quality in all five of them. Simon brought them together to create a band and they skyrocketed to fame across the world. They started their band in London, United Kingdom. Girls from ages about 5 to 20 would go crazy for these men and their voices. They’ve currently have had a total of four world tours.
Their first ever concert in the United States was on May 22, 2012. It was held at Uncasville, CT, in the Mohegan Sun Arena. This tour was their first world tour, the name of it was “Up All Night”. The five young men heard almost just as many screams as the four young men that came about 50 years before them.
