Across Broxton, around 30 buildings were burning and cars were burning
Sunday 12th April: broken windows, cars were dead, melted policemen’s helmet on road. Damaged repair cause hundreds of thousand or one million pounds. Nearly 150 buildings were destroyed or broken, seven hundred million pounds to repair. Worst break down in law order in 200 years. 178 police hurt. On Sunday police were not ready to admit and wanting to blame it on political reasons. Police wanted to blame the community for what had happened. The government seemed reluctant to take action. 25 November 2011; shockwaves through British society, put the police on trial and found them guilty, it happened because the police had lost the consent. Across the country police were being talked to and questions were asked. Police were being compelled to ask the community, nasty job and long time for the smarting for the police to wear the ideas on. Police were urged to put on more coloured and Asian police men/women.
