"Help!" is a song by the Beatles that demonstrates the feelings and attitude of someone alone needing a friend. In the second stanza of the lyrics the Beatles write "I never needed anybody's help in any way, but now these days are gone". They say this because some people are very independent, however at times we can't do it on our own and need help from others. The Beatles then continue saying "I'm not so self assured, now I find I've changed my mind, and opened up the door's". The song starts by saying "when you're weary, feeling small, when tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all". This proves how a good friend is one who is their for us when we are at our lowest and knowing this gives us a feeling of secureness.
