The Beatles Informative Speech
Intro- Imagine that you are one of the millions of Americans who watched the Beatles for the first time on the Ed Sullivan Show. It was February 9th, 1964, and according to The Music Trades from February 4th 2014, nearly 73 million Americans were watching the Beatles on the Ed sullivan show- this accounted for nearly 40 percent of the entire population.
Central Idea- Today I would like to show you all how The Beatles became one of the most popular bands in history, the impacts they have had on the world, and the impacts they still have today.
Credibility- I have been a Beatles fan for the majority of my life, I have been to a Paul McCartney concert when I was younger, and I have researched and read many books about the Beatles.

    The Beatles were a pop-rock band that originally formed in the 1960s. The band was formed in Liverpool, England, with the four main members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. The band did not originally have Ringo Starr as its drummer and only added him in 1962 when a conflict arose in the recording studio which called for the dismissing of their pervious drummer.
