The Bees

It was a hot summer day in the year of 2005 I was 8 years old. So, one could say like almost any kid my age would want to do just to get out of the house! Play on their swing set of course! Even though it was kind of boring since I had nobody to play with, but it was nice to get out and have some fresh air. With the sun shining brighter than ever and the wind blowing just enough for it not to be too hot. I am just sitting there swinging and for some odd reason I thought to myself “wouldn't it be fun to jump of the swing?” Then of course the worst happened and landed on my face! Got some little scratch on my face but it was the kind of scratch that didn't bleed, it hurt a little, but not enough to go tell my mom. I think the grass caught my fall because it was long and kind of bushy in a prickly kind of way. I got mad but really don’t know why because it was my fault. After all that a voice in my head said “Dana you should probably just go inside for the day” but of course a kid like me wouldn't ever listen to that voice. As I was climbing up the ladder on the slide my eyes caught a beehive and that voice in my head said “fling the beehive, it won’t bother you.” Well let me tell you that was the dumbest thing I ever did. Those bees flew out of that beehive faster than the speed of light! There were so many of them just buzzing their way toward me. As I was screaming my head off and running towards the door to get inside that voice came into my head and said “swing at the bees maybe it will kill them or hurt the bees and they will leave you alone.” Another dumb decision on my part, because of course I got stung like ten times in the same hand. The pain of the bees stinging you in the same hand is one of the worst feelings ever and then on top of that from all of the stings my right hand started to swell up. So, I ran up the steps to my porch and tripped like 5 times not very fun. My mom ran outside and she was asking me what happened, but I was in so much shock and
