I was wondering how the birth of Chicano Studies started and reading the “The Birth of Chicano Studies” had given me a better understanding of the history of Chicano history. As I was reading, I figured that Chicano Studies wasn’t implemented in the public or college schools because at that time Mexican-Americans weren’t given equal right.
