The Birthing Process
Birth. I think that based on the needs of the mothers and the baby, that medication can be used for the birthing process. Labor is painful and I think that medication can be used if the mother wants it. The baby can be born vagionally or by cesarean delivery.
At-Risk Infants: A Different Beginning. Early intervention programs can make important contributions to successful outcomes for preterm infants and their parents. Current trends in intervention focus on individualized care and long-term development.
The Newborn. After delivery, newborns infants appear helpless and almost toatlly dependent on their caregivers for their survivals.
