The Blind Side directed by John Lee Hancock. Is a family sports drama film. This film is about a young man taken in by the Tuohy family and introduced to the sport of football. I liked the movie because it showed the caring side of a family and it shows how good people can actually be. I am going to comment on the aspects of costumes,settings and dialogue
The Blind Side is a movie about the struggles of Michael Oher and the story of how he is taken in by the Tuohy family. Michael came from Hurt village a bad part of town where he was taken away from his mother. When the Tuohy family took him in the gave him a home and an education at high school and later college. Michael took up football in high school and was later talked to by college football teams until he made his final college choice.
The setting of The Blind Side is used to show where the characters come from and end up throughout the movie. The same man from hurt village who were insulting Leigh Anne he asked Michael questions about his sisters that make him angry and uncomfortable. He tries to leave and he says one more thing which results in Michael attacking him and almost everyone in the house the dialogue was used as a way to see more flashbacks into Michael's past without Michael having to say it himself. The dialogue of the film is used in a good way it was used for positive and negative impact on characters and the dialogue changed along with the characters throughout the film. Leigh Anne’s dialogue at the start of the film made her out to be a harsh character but by the end her tone and dialogue shows a deep caring
