A perceptual map is an optical tool that visually illustrates customer perceptions of a product in relation to others in the market place. Typically the position of a product line, brand or company is displayed relative to their competition. Thus, to what extent can we trust the insight of an expert’s personal knowledge? The dynamics of the relationship between shared and personal knowledge is driven by hard data and judgments. Religion is a very cultural phenomenon. In one’s cultural perspective there could be a misinterpretation of the validity of evidence created, therefore making it unpredictable. I have identified the common denominator, which is the concept of universalizing the rightness and wrongness of my religion. Furthermore, demonstrating how much they have impacted my personal knowledge as part of the shared knowledge.
