The Bridge school
I started going to the Bridge, on August for summer classes.

My first day at the Bridge International school was wonderful. When I arrived at the
Bridge International School, I did not know what to expect, but my first day was amazing. I saw some old friends that I was schooling in the same school with, before the Bridge. I made new friends who were kind, funny and interesting. I did not know people at the Bridge International School would be that nice. I found some subjects hard, because I never took them and it was my first time taking them. But with those new subjects I learned more. When I came I did not even know how to write an eassy in a good way but thanks to I improved on my writing, because we have amazing teachers who encourages us to work hard and become the best. Thanks to those teachers I am improving in all the Subjects. Thanks to+ my friends as well who helped me with school work.
I really enjoy being at the bridge international school. I wish I will finish my high here, because if I do, I will be the best in most of the subjects.

America split away from Great Britain for the sole reason that the people were not treated fairly. Ironically, in America where everyone was free, slavery was legal. Although many people believed it to be moral, there was an equally big population that did not. This created a big division between the two regions of America. The North and the South were two enemies on different sides; this held true when the Civil War took place. But even so, there were lots of conflicts that led up to the war. The issue over slavery grew, and spread to other things, directly affecting them. Things like the economy were affected, and also created a greater gap between the regions. “The industrialization of the northern states had an impact upon urbanization…

Over the course of my day at Shepherdstown elementary I learned a lot more than I thought would even be possible. I witnessed both the good and bad moments during my one short day. Mrs. Austin seemed to have it all together, she was an amazing role model in the classroom and showed me what I should and shouldn’t do in certain situations. Observing the classroom showed me that I need to learn a lot of vital information throughout the program at Shepherd in order to be able to become successful in the classroom one day. When I started my day at Shepherdstown Elementary, I had mixed feelings. I was passionate and eager to be there but I also felt a sense of intimidation and fear when I started interacting with the students. I began to watch the teachers and see what they were doing. After sitting in the classroom and getting adjusted, my feelings had transformed. I started becoming more comfortable and feeling a lot better about where I was. By the end of the day I had a remarkable time and I cannot wait to have a classroom of my own one-day.…

My first few weeks of classes at UW-Platteville have surprisingly been fun and brought many opportunities of clubs I did not think I would join. When I imagined going to college for the first time, I thought I would cry and be homesick. To not be homesick I told myself to be involved with the Welcome Weekend activities and it worked! My classes were intimidating on the first day, but now that we have had many classes I am comfortable. I am using my time management skills everyday because I have many meetings to attend. Overall, I am glad I choose to continue my education at UW-Platteville because it feels like home.…

First day of classes, I remember putting on my most professional attire and taking a look in the mirror. I had no doubt, this campus was the place for me to be. When I was brought in the International Center office to learn about my new job, as I shook hands and made eye contact with the staff members, I felt welcomed, I felt that 5,164 miles from home, were insignificant. The job itself, thought me many things professionally, and gave me the chance to interact with hundreds of international students from across the globe.…

I did not really have any high expectations on my school at first (in terms of facilities and the building), since I know that rural schools are sometimes isolated and not getting much attention by the authority, and that is the saddest part actually. But to my surprise, when I first stepped into my school compound, I was shocked to found out that my school is big and beautiful! I was very happy, of course, and I began to feel that I will enjoy doing my practicum in the school.…

At that school I had the best and worst moments in my educational life so far. I remember almost all the places that we went to, not only the Coca-Cola factory, the Natural Science museum, the Serenisima factory, the school camp in fourth year, and we went to the theatre to see a play in English. I was very excited. I must say at that time it was a very strange activity because state schools lacked money and English wasn’t one of the most important subjects that we were supposed to learn.…
