ABSTRACT The importance of the higher education for the development of our lives and civilizations is beyond dispute. The current higher education is running on a declined line. One of the most likely treatments is the adoption of industry-successful quality systems and specifically TQM. The research tries to investigate the challenges and obstacles of TQM implementation in higher education institutions in UAE. To do so a survey is conducted at a leading institution,
