ABSTRACT
Raising chicken nowadays is one of the sources of earning money. Because of economic crisis, chicken feeds are getting expensive. Hence, we have conducted this study to compare the chicken response on cooked rice and leucaena leucocephala leaves as chicken feed supplement mainly to help poultry raisers on how they can save money in buying feeds for the chicken. In the study, we provided a coop with four spaces for the four groups: the first group is fed with commercial feeds, the second group fed with commercial feeds along with leucaena leucocephala as feed supplement, the third group fed with commercial feeds along with cooked rice as feed supplement, and the fourth group fed with commercial feeds along with both leucaena leucocephala and cooked rice as feed supplement. The study was started with a pretest and was observed for two weeks. Then, a posttest was done. In this study we were able to conclude that cooked rice is more effective than the rest having increased In this study we were able to conclude that cooked rice is the most effective chicken feed supplement than the rest.
