The Antiterrorism Law was passed in February 1995. It gave the Federal jurisdiction higher authority in prosecuting terrorists. It also offered a way to prevent terrorists from entering the United States in the first place. It created deeper control over biological and chemical weapons, making it harder for them to fall into the wrong hands. It also gave American victims of terrorist attacks court-awarded compensation. Overall, the Clinton Administration was pretty successful, although it could have done more. The Bush Administration also worked tirelessly at limiting terrorism around the globe. However, it was a very different approach than the Clinton Administration. After the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001, they launched a “War on Terror”. They went after all terrorists and presumed that if a nation was harboring terrorists, they were working with them. They launched countless assaults on foreign soil to stop terrorism from spreading. We will put more restrictions on the purchase of illegal weapons, and monitor shipments into our country. I will enhance our border security so no illegal equipment of terrorists can easily get in. We will do our best to improve areas in the United States that have fallen into poverty, and improve the lives of all people, no matter their stance or race. In Foreign Policy, we will try to find out how these terrorists are getting supplies and money, and will we stop it. We will freeze any assets they have, and we will destroy their suppliers if we get the chance. We will continue to fight for freedom where we deem necessary. Although war is never an option I like to accept, I would prefer to freely choose to go down fighting for a cause I believe, rather than to fall under the terror that has engulfed so much of the world we live in. The world is far from perfect and so are we, but we can try to make it a place where everyone gets an equal say. We will also promote schooling and teach our children the right way to live, so that they will not fall into this world of
