Other products like iPhones, Apple Watches, Apple TVs, and iPads can easily be connected using Bluetooth to a Mac. Since Apple designed na intricate system, Macs have been reported to have less cases of viruses and malware due to warning signs whenever the computer may be vulnerable. In the same way, safety also refers to quality control. Since Macs can only be bought from Apple, the computers are guaranteed to have high quality, as opposed to the many companies that produce PCs. The PC OS is Microsoft windows which offers its users free updates and has a very highly talented team of Pros to keep them ahead of the game. One thing that some users don't like is that Windows OS is easy to crash unlike the Mac is protected with tight encryption that your basic user can’t get past, to make any changes to the main OS to change it. “Macs hardware is well built and appealing but is expensive. Most of their laptops have SATA hard drives which are fast but are short on memory and don't come with DVD players or HDMI ports and the batteries are not removable. PCs on the other hand plenty of design, specifications, and price options. The hardware runs from topnotch to low with the prices matching the quality.” (Popular…

Computer technology changes so rapidly, forcing computer users to either purchase a new computer to stay up to date, or to upgrade to better software and hardware. PC computers are more compatible with hardware and software than the MAC computer is. There is more hardware and software made just for the PC computer use, leaving more options for upgrading in the future. When a MAC computer goes obsolete, a MAC user will most likely have to purchase a new system. Simply upgrading to better or software can be less expensive than just purchasing a new computer, so a PC computer makes this option easier for home computer users.…

First of all, PCs have a better user interface. While Mac users have always boasted of having a computer with a clean, modern look, this changed with Windows Vista, released on January 30, 2007. Windows Vista has translucent window bars, a search bar on the start menu, and tabs on the bottom of the screen, as well as introducing a feature in which users can scroll through all open windows. To contrast, Macs require tedious dragging around of windows, making multitasking with several windows open a nightmare. Additionally, Macs have a detached toolbar that is attached to the top of the screen. Being detached has no functional purpose, constantly takes up space, and does not close when the program window is closed. A stereotype of Macs is that they are more user-friendly. However, starting with Vista, the search bar has allowed users to efficiently search for any desired file, and the sidebar was introduced (similar to widgets), which has “a number of functional and useful gadgets,” (Weisben). Windows 7 (released 2009) got rid of the unnecessary security pop-ups, as well as added a toolbar at the bottom with tabs, preventing the Mac system of dragging around windows. Windows 7 also added the feature that allows a user to make a window full or half screen by dragging it to the top or side of the screen. According to Mitchell Ashley, from networkworld.com, “Gone from Windows 7 are Vista's loads of unnecessary bloatware applications, confusing and poorly designed configuration dialog boxes, and moronic UAC popups that impeded a user's productivity at every turn.”…

Are you a Mac or PC? That is the question. I’m a Mac, all the way! I will stick by my Mac till death do us part. Out of the thousands of laptops produced by today’s technology companies, I have yet to come across a laptop that even comes close to competing with the Mac book Pro that is generated by Apple. The speed and reliability of the Mac book is phenomenal, along with the thousands of application software programs that can be downloaded on this computer. Although there are many reasons the Mac book Pro is a one of a kind, award winning laptop; I love it simply for its performance and software.…

I have mostly relied on my Mac running OS X now for about a decade. I really enjoy my MacBook for a lot of reasons yet I switch to from Windows only to be different from others or should I say from the majority of people out there using Windows so I chose to start playing around with a Mac maybe cause everyone uses Windows plus thought it would be nice to change and a challenge. Not that I’m saying Mac’s are hard but a very much different environment from all Windows like Win98, W2000, WinNT, Win2003, WinXP, for a while there Vista and now for the most commonly used Win7 not to forget Win8 which will get it’s turn as the days go on. Otherwise, most work places have Windows so no matter where you go there will always be Windows to handle most operations.…
