Recently this nation and social media have erupted in a massive search for these mysterious clowns. After the first sighting in North Carolina this craze has spread like wildfire across our nation. Although there are some people that do not care about these clowns, many people are very concerned for their and their children's safety, security, and peace of mind. Everybody and their brother have been hunting these clowns down like their lives depend on it. The purpose of people dressing up as clowns is not clear but we are about to dive in and examine as much as we can about this recent flood of “clown sightings” and threats and how our schools and communities are handling this new situation. The windows were boarded up and the balcony was sagging, as though it could fall at any moment.
