The Crises of Capitalism by David Harvey is about finding more responsible and humane economic system that looks beyond capitalism. According to the movie clip, capitalism has five explanatory format genres. These are human frailty, institutional failures, obsessed with a false theory, cultural origins, and failure of policy. Harvey explains that capitalism never solves it problems, it is just moved around. I believe that there are bad economic structures not necessarily bad people. The structures and companies are the ones to blame, not specific people. The economic decisions that are made are a group of people who decide on system. Personally, I would not chose the opportunity to make “quick money” similar to many companies. I would rather
decide on a well thought out plan that would help the economy for many years and not just for the moment. Planning for the future seems clever to me than just developing a solution for the problem currently active. I do not have a specific solution to solve the economic crisis, however one suggestion to hand the economy crisis into the hands of people with better-quality strategies.
