After school, my best friend Marc and I we found ourselves at home to listen to the episode of Pokemon playing at 3:30. We always went to my house because her mother was depressed. My mother was tired of always having at home and so after the episode is going to play out. Playing outside was rather playing game-boy advance under the trees in my yard! I had Fire Red and Leaf Green him, the brother Marc had erased his game so we enjoyed making special team or finding secrets with his game instead of collecting badges.…

While many criticize Pokemon Go, claiming that it does not increase the attention to nature and historical/important locations, based on my own experiences, I can say the opposite. While at a summer camp, before Pokemon Go was launched, my daily routine was very limited and predictable, only travelling between my classes, the gym, the library and the dining hall. However, after Pokemon Go was released, I began to walk around more - often even walking miles to go to a nearby town and explore. This not only increased my physical activity, one of its objectives, but also created a reason for me to walk longer distances. In addition, while walking to these nearby towns, I wasn't merely staring at my phone like most people would think, but instead left it by my side, looking around at my surroundings and the different environments. Furthermore, the pokestops also sometimes contained a short description of the location or "object", allowing me to learn more about it. I even walked to a few parks throughout my summer camp. Moreover, Pokemon Go also created a sense of community at my summer camp. Whereas before, very small groups of people would occasionally walk to a nearby town, now much…

In the fictional memoir,Maestro, Peter Goldworthy illustrates the impossibility of reaching perfection. The protagonist, Paul Crabbe, uses ten years to fulfill his dream of becoming a concert pianist, but ultimately only to become an academic in Melbourne. His failure is caused by his flawed personality and his inherent human limitation. Paul’s teacher, Eduard Keller, the ‘maestro’, is a damaged individual. His high status in music does not give him a perfect life, as his wife and son are killed due to his insensitivity and false confidence in his own excellence in music. Peter Goldworthy shows that perfection in an ambition farfrom reaching through the characters’ struggle for it.…

The growth of social networks and smartphones over the past few years has come with a dangerous side-effect: the violation of privacy and security. Social networks such as Facebook and Twitter may appear to be a fun way to keep in touch or to easily socialize with friends and family, but as these networks continue to grow some very serious privacy and security concerns emerge. Interestingly these concerns could be easily prevented by any educated user. The problem occurs when social network and smartphone companies force the average user to have to work towards gaining this education by hiding or not fully explaining some of their settings and features. One of the biggest cases of this is the recent emergence of coordinate-based apps on smartphones. In many of these apps, location services – a setting that allows the app to record the user’s exact coordinates at a given time – is turned on by default; the average user may never even be aware of its existence. This is not the only example of technology designed to follow people, there are many more new features being developed all the time to track and record an individual’s movements, despite their fun and harmless appearance; user education has become necessary for security.…
The very explanation behind the First Amendment is to guarantee the talk of disfavored minorities. Pokemon Go doesn't generally let its players to participate or play with various players, which suggests that a predator couldn't use it to talk with children on the web, thus providing not a perfect encroachment of first amendment free speech. However, since part of gameplay is walking around in all actuality to look out allocated spots (PokeStops) which are to some degree self-assertively doled out by the beguilement, the hazard is that adolescents may be pulled in by the preoccupation to go hang out close where a sex offender happens to be, everything considered. Sex offenders are probably considered as the most belittled collect in the overall population. Restricting them from any social networking application, most likely faces some mind-boggling obstructions. The suggestion could without a lot of an extend be seen as overabundance when there's starting at now a limitation on sex…
