BACKGROUND
Malawi officially is the Republic of Malawi a landlocked country in South central Africa and ranks among the world's least developed countries. Malawi’s economic freedom has been mainly stagnant. a low quality of the government’s efficiency in delivering public goods and insufficient of the basic infrastructure have been serious impediments to vigorous economic growth and development. Besides, lag of competitiveness and the broad based economic growth led to the poverty.
Furthermore, Malawi is among the world's least-developed countries and proven by its currency problems which have been the systematic decline in foreign exchange reserved. Its economic is predominantly agricultural with about mostly of the Malawi population living in rural areas. More than 85% of the population depends on subsistence agriculture and the agricultural sector accounts for over 35 %of GDP and over 80% of exports.
In Malawi, importing goods is costly and time-consuming. Access to foreign exchange can be difficult at times for the citizen. The financial sector of Malawi remains underdeveloped and a full range of modern financing tools is not publicly available. Capital transactions and foreign exchange accounts
