My personal definition of “friendship” is a relationship between one person or more to be by your side when I need them or when I need to talk to them. There are different types of friendships that people can have. Friendships can exist between best friends, friends, lovers, children, parents, siblings, and many more. All of these friendships usually differ in many ways. Everyone has at least a friendship or more. Some people have pets and animals as a friend like dog, cats, birds, etc.
We try to make as many friends as possible when they’re really young, but as time goes on we get older and wiser. We eliminate/ unfriend the one who aren’t helpful to us. This is because we realize the good and the bad friends. The people who make us do stuff we don’t really want to do just because we can’t say ‘no’ or the people that help us through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Sometimes we make mistakes and pick the bad friends, but most of the time we pick the right people.
I have the best friendship with my softball sister Sydney. We have been friends for two almost three years. We have been by each other through thick and thin. It has been tough throughout the years. We may fight and argue, but we always make-up in the end.
There are many emotions people get when having friendships. Some people feel a combination of affection, loyalty, love, respect, and trust. Usually when people look for a friendship they look trait like similar interests. Some people have different meanings to the definition of “friendship.” To some people it’s just for the normal companionship or it’s for others it’s the simple trust that they have someone to talk to.
