The Definition of Success in My Life
In this Life What is Success to You?

Success is a very important thing to me. To me success is having the job that I want, earning the money I need, having a family that I can easily support, and having a good education for myself. If and when I achieve these goals I will be successful. There are many other things that people would say led to success, but they may not be the ones I think are important. Although I have my own ideas on what success is all people have different opinions on what success is.

In this day and age success plays a very important role in our lives. If a person is not successful they may not be able to live the life they want. By being successful they insure that they will be able to have the money they need to live, have a good education, and be able to support themselves and their family. So by being successful a person can achieve all of these goals without a problem.

To me the most important thing to make a person successful is having a good education. If I don't get a good education in high school and in college then I probably will not be success ful.If I don't have a good education my job opportunities are very low and the ones that are out there don't pay well. By having a good education it will ensure that I get a good well paying job. By having a well paying job I will be a successful person.

By having a good education it will ensure the next thing in being successful. This is having enough money to support myself. just because a person has money doesn't mean they can support themselves. Having to many bills can play a role in whether a person has money. By having a good job they can pay all of the bills they have and have money to invest, spend, and buy he things they don't need.

By having money I will be able to have a famly that I can support without worying if I can afford the things we need. By having the job I want and earning the money that I nedd I will be successful. Having money is a very import in the

I want to be successful. All people have a shared goal of becoming, “successful,” but everyone in the world has their own ideas of what success is. To some success may be defined as a social status and financial abundance, but to others success is defined as happiness. The Merrium-Webster dictionary defines success as a favorable desired outcome. I think the correct definition of success is being healthy, having a career that is fulfilling to myself, having the ability to have financial freedom, having a happy home and family, having a healthy relationship with a significant other, and being someone who you are genuinely proud of being.…

Being successful in every aspect of my life, academically and socially, has always been a goal of mine. I have known all my life that money would not be handed to me for college; I needed to earn it by meeting my family's high expectations. Starting when I was a little girl, my day began and ended with school. My grandmother would make math sheets for me to do after I got home from school up until I was in sixth grade. My drive for success has not dwindled in my thirteen years of education, but will grow as I go through college.…

In our society today, mainstream media have successfully convinced many of us into accepting a false and morally meaningless definition of success. Sellers want us to believe that receiving an enormous paycheck, living in a luxurious house, and owning all of the latest equipment is the key to happiness and success. In real life, we all know there comes a lot more to being a truly successful individual. True success necessitates esteem, gratitude, honesty, patience, and persistence. All of these necessities to becoming successful are not traits we are born with, but things we strive to attain while becoming the best that we can be.…

There are many ways that people define success and many people define it differently. There are three aspects of my life in which I would personally define my life as a success. The first aspect is education. If I can get through college and with great grades and the education I need for the job I want, then I will have defined my education as a success. The reason I will define this as a success is because of the fact that not everybody gets a chance at a college education and if I can still get that chance then I can define my life as successful. The second reason I will define this as a success is if the college education I want gets me a job I want then I can live a happy life. The second aspect in which I would define…

Having a successful life does not necessarily mean being rich and famous, but rather being content with the decisions that have made in your life. Prominent people, for example, have a lot of money, big houses, and tons of expensive cars but may not be successful in their life. A real example is Phil, he wasted all his life in accumulating money, and at the end what did he acquire…-his death. To call our selves successful first, we need to have good friends, someone we can trust and often, we need a friend with whom we can speak with no fear of being judged about our life. It is hard to find someone with this attributes but is not impossible. Friends are like marvels, there are a lot of them, but we should find the best ones. Friends are what makes our life different and are always there for us when we need them. Secondly having a happy and understandable family is another key of being successful. Families are said to be "the root of every living soul." In other words, families are what brought us into being, what gave us life, what shaped our values and beliefs, and what ultimately launched us towards our own…

To summarize, my definition of success seems to vary from the traditional dictionary definition, which tends to define the word as a measure of things that can be physically accumulated. I believe the definition of success hinges not upon the things generally defined by society as making someone successful, but rather upon the things that apply only to you, and the things that make you happy. Success is achieving the goals that you set for yourself, without worrying about stacking up to others. Success is actively being the best person that you can be. In my eyes, success is to truly be…
