Today in the 21st century, being symmetrical and aesthetic is important in the bodybuilding world. Symmetry and aesthetics was an unfamiliar conception at the time. The gym, weight training, dieting are central to the bodybuilding community. The bodybuilding subculture here at the school North Carolina A&T is a large community. That being all shapes and sizes, trying to achieve the same body as they in shape piers. People look at bodybuilder as being egoistic and morally not that bright. Commonalities in these group of people or this subculture would Strength. Not the only bodybuilder I've come across doesn't have the same goal of becoming stronger and building the perfect body. Another commonality would be smarts. I say this because we are in a college setting and to be about to get in our gym your more than likely a student of North Carolina
