Are Smartphones Affected to People in Thai Society?
Background/Problem:
According to Marc Andreessen (1971), “The smartphones revolution is under-hyped, more people have access to phones than access to running water. We've never had anything like this before since the beginning of the planet.” Nowadays, smartphones is one popular item of Thai society, most people or teenagers always use the smartphones for communicating with other people, finding the information and the stories they are interested. Smartphone is very convenient to use, and it can cause values and three significant troubles. However, mental health, physical health, and lifestyle are the major effects of using smartphones.
The first, smartphones can affect on the mental health. Mental health can cause from using smartphones. Today, most people or many teenagers use smartphones in dairy life such as Iphone, or Samsung, but people don’t know about the disadvantages of mental health when people use smartphones. Nidapai (2010) presented that if people use smartphones more than 60 minutes per day, people will get mental health’s disease. There are many mental health’s diseases but depressive disorder may happen to people. Depressive disorder is a mental health disease that affect from smartphones. Depressive disorder is one of disease mental health which most of people have disease by they don’t know themselves. Kasantikun (n.d.) found that the symptom of this disease is discouraged
