the effects of China's influence in South America

“China is steadily emerging as a superpower for the next century”.1 In recent years China is becoming a new world power in a few years moved to the United States (exhibit 1). Its economic, production and financial growth is due to its changing economic reforms such as foreign trade and foreign direct investment. China has a presence in most of the world markets and high-tech media such as fine chemicals automotive, and electronics. This development is further supported by advantages such as cost of labor and production scale, aimed at implementing technology strategies. China currently has a weakness that is based largely on agricultural production and raw materials, which is why this country is entering the Latin American economies, and maintaining trade relations are mainly focused on obtaining raw material to supply the local market and Latin American countries in turn import a wide range of products manufactured in special technology. Definitely from China that started to implement strategic alliances with Latin America, several countries have significantly increased their exports, as the Chinese market is one of the world's largest, with a population of around 1300 million.(Exhibit 2). The participation of China in Latin America is also reflected in the ambitious investment projects in the case of Ecuador can cite examples such as "civil works, investments both private and state , and oil exploitation activities"2
By writing this paper, I Intend to show the effects created by the influence of China in South America, as negotiations with the Asian giant could generate benefits, but it could also become a threat to countries that are still developing. The Latin American countries as a whole appear as suppliers of raw materials, minerals and agricultural products.
