Summary
Capitalist system, which works only for satisfying the customers or employers, created the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concept in order to keep up with the changing worldviews. This concept is based on what companies take from society, should be paid back to the society in the simplest terms. Crucially, CSR must consist plans of action, which were prepared with ethical care, for a mutually beneficial relationship between the companies and the society. In the construction, real estate and related industries, especially large-scale companies have an intensive tendency to concentrate on the CSR issue for being challenger within their business areas. The rigid environmental and human life protection norms of today’s world also push companies to declare a CSR policy related with these norms. Nevertheless, companies of the construction and real estate industries should focus as well on philanthropic social actions in order to find an esteemed place in the public perspective.
