Nowadays, even with e-mail and the internet, the telephone is still probably the most common means of communication in business, and when used efficiently, it has its advantages.
Advantages of the telephone
It is fast . It allows people to converse even when they are unable to meet. It is a great leveler: status, physical appearance and surroundings don’t show. It is a great focuser.
