"Apartheid" I've just heard it recently, and just found out how big importance this "Apartheid" have to the racism- and African story. One of the few things about racism I've known before The story of south Africa, was the speech of Martin L. King, but then i heard of the tragic history of South Africa. The whole history of Apartheid is just simply very tragic, and that's why i have chosen to write about the end of it, because that was one of the few "good" things about it. The African National Congress, also known as the ANC, was a major factor in ending apartheid, but other black organizations such as the PAC, UDF and COSATU also contributed to bringing apartheid to an end
There were many factors that was there was the reason to apartheid ended, even though the government was cruel and racist. Allot of people Before Mandela Many years were black didn't have any equal rights, and was treated like animals, but still many protests and suffer led at last there came a reformatory were black got equal rights, and democracy for everybody.
Beside most of these factors, i think the most impotent in the history of ending apartheid, was when they released ANC leader Nelson Mandela in 1990. I think that it symbolize that now south Africa had new hope, and a new kind of humans to control the country.
The prime minister was replaced by FW De Klerk. De Klerk had a speech were he said that all political prisoners could be released. Releasing Mandela was a quite unexpected move from the government, but the government had send him to prison because of a series crime witch i think is obvious that he didn't do, and i think they send him to prison because of his politics. But still this move, is what i think was the most important move in the history of releasing the South Africa.
