Pollution is an occurrence that is happening more and more every day; it affects many essential aspects. Air envelops the Earth and makes all life possible. Humans alone breathe 35 pounds of air every day. Our Earth’s atmosphere shields us from harmful cosmic radiation. By allowing pollution to continue as Earth inhabitants we are opening ourselves to outside harm. Pollution is also affecting the Earth’s water supply causing harm to millions of people and other life forms. Nearly 37 million children live in areas affected by pollution. Water takes 70% of the Earth’s surface yet many insist on contaminating our water supply. The human brain itself is composed of a large percent of water. If we think logically, lack of healthy water can lead to brain damage. The Environmental Protection Agency has been hard at work since 1970 protecting the public health. However the quality of the air we breathe and the quality of water we drink declines every year. Many individuals and entire countries are suffering from illness caused by pollution. Something has to be done to save the human race from itself. I propose a solution to the Earth’s dilemma; I suggest individual plastic spheres to contain pollution. This containment bubble can provide a comfortable living, provided individuals keep their limited space sanitized. I believe with a little effort and dedication we can save the world and humanity by reducing our carbon footprint one plastic contained step at a time. There are various causes of pollution; however the major culprits are human beings. Thousands of power plants continue to pollute our world by releasing mercury into the atmosphere. If humans started Earth on this path of destruction, then they can stop it. Another cause of pollution is industrial facilities. Most of these industries are releasing waste into the world; this waste is a major factor that causes pollution. The waste such as electricity from burning fossil fuel such
