Between 6 months and 1 year Can sit unaided Begins to crawl Pull up/ push against furniture to stand Raise arms to be lifted Turn and look up when they hear their name Pass objects from hand to hand Look for objects that have been hidden or dropped Reaches towards food
Between 1 + 2 years Begins to walk Sits alone Feeds themselves Push and pull things when playing Wave goodbye Point and make noises to indicate wants Shake head for no Crawl upstairs Bang objects together Build tower of few bricks Holds crayon in palm
Between 2 + 3 years Kneels to play Throws balls Kick balls Pours liquids Uses pencil to scribble
SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Newborn to 3 months Responds to adult face and voice Smiles Dependant on adults for reassurance and comfort, quietens when held/cuddled
Between 6-9 months Enjoys company of others Enjoys games such as peek and boo Shows affection to known people
