Dashner makes every last conversation seem so real which makes everything just a bit more intense. The first dialogue that seems real is at the beginning of the book when Michael wants to tell his friends about what happened when he tried to save Tanya (Pg 14).
Another part where Dashner uses great dialogue is when they are trapped by Kaine and he is talking saying “My name is Kaine, and I see all” (Pg 41). Plus when the old man is telling Michael to not go inside of the castle (Pg 272). These are all just examples how Dashner uses great dialogue in The Eye of Minds. Dashner’s writing style is very easy and simple. Dashner’s sentence structure is short and not complicated to follow along with. Dashner also likes to put one event in each of his chapters. So his sentence structure is easy to follow. If you are a young adult who likes reading about futuristic books then The Eye of Minds is a great way to spend the afternoon. It immediately catches your attention and leaves you wanting to read the next book. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the gaming
