This novel has layers upon layers of suspense causing the reader to never want to put the book down. Each chapter adds more to the mysteries of who is Luke, why do the faeries want Deidre, and what's Luke’s connection to them. It also contains some of the best characters of any book or movie, each is completely unique and have characteristics that make them relevant to the story. Some of them are mysterious, others are relatable, while some are just plain amusing. James is one of Deidre’s few friends and her best friend, he seems like the type of person that you would want to be your friend.
