The Fate’s are well known by the greeks as three sisters named Clotho,Lachesis, and Atropos.Clotho would spin the thread of life; Lachesis, the dispose of lots,who assigned destiny; Atropos she who could not be turned,who carried “the abhorred shears” and cut the thread at death(Hamilton 46).
