This is a story where the main character is cancer (partially). Hazel Grace is a teenage girl who is diagnosed with cancer. As her days passes she is forced by her mom to go to group meetings with other people in the same situation.
As she’s there she sees someone who caught her eye. Augustus Waters was the name of the stunning teenage boy who caught her attention. As the meeting starts the same introduction comes in and out her ears as she doses away. Across the room is where sat Augustus. Staring at him in admiration he suddenly begins to talk. Stating his fear, hazel amidiatly buts in. saying that he is indeed wrong on her opinion. As time passes she is suddenly outside waiting for her mom to pick her up. Standing next to her was Augustus with a brief conversation. Pulling out a pack of cigarettes next to the cancer patient makes her go off at him. As he states the well know quote “it’s a metaphor see; you put the killing thing between your teeth but you don’t give it the power to do its killing.” as hazel is amazed with such words Augustus suddenly invites her to go with him. Approved by her mother she is off with a practical stranger.
Through time hazel and Augustus become very close as they talk and text each other more often; hazel and Augustus both fell in love with a book that they’ve read. Not knowing the ending. They turn eager to know how the characters end up. Little did she know what was coming towards them. Augustus a man of questions asks hazel on what she spent her cancer wish with. An unbelievable answer she suddenly says Disney world, Augustus suddenly starts to historically laughing at hazel.
