According to federalist number ten, there are two ways the constitution can lessen the effects of factions. One option is to take away the freedom that gives the factions their power. The problem with taking away the liberty of people
is it takes away the whole purpose of being liberated from Britain. The second option is for everyone to feel the same all of the time, which will never happen.
The constitution solved the problems by creating a large republic that every person has a voice in. This in turn helps combat factions by everyone having their one entitled opinion not just joining a majority. Madison favors a large republic over a small republic. He favors this because there will be more opinions to side with when trying to voice an opinion through a representative.
In conclusion, the only real solution to make everyone happy, is compromise. Even though they do not get all of the policies they want they still get a few because each party is diverse and has its own opinions in politics. I feel that the constitution will mostly solve the problems faced but there will still be grey areas, where individuals will not get everything they feel right. I feel if the majority of people agree on one thing they will just have to deal with it.
