The revival had 464 performances. The show grossed less than 50 percent of its expected earn of $1.5 million at the box office. On the other hand, The Sound of Music was a Broadway hit too. The Sound of Music is about a family during the reign of the Nazis. The Sound of Music won the Best Musical Tony in 2014, and Mary Martin won the Best Actress Tony also in 2014.
