The First Flying Pig Ever – “Ruben”

There once was a pig named Ruben. Ruben’s dream was to fly. He lived in a barn on 46th Saint Street. In today’s time, we don’t have flying pigs. But Ruben dreamt that he would be the first flying pig on Earth 2000, the future Earth.
Ruben tried to get out of his pen, but he couldn’t. The gate was locked shut. The next day Ruben told his friends (in pig language) about his dream. His friends stared at him for a second and then laughed out loud “oinkkkk, oinkkkk, oinkkkk, oinkkkkkk, oinkkkkkk”.
2 days later, Ruben’s owner, Antonio let Ruben out of his pig-pen. Ruben shot right out of the barn door into the barn yard and started to fly!!!! He tried and tried and tried but it was useless. Ruben was very disappointed.

It was Antonio. Ruben woke up from his dream and ran towards the centre of the barn for roll call. Antonio announced that he and the animals will be trained for flying. Ruben was excited to hear this. “At last my dream is coming true”, Ruben thought.
Without knowing what he was doing Ruben started to jump and run with joy. He climbed up on the stage, pushed Antonio and started addressing “Friends of my barn, today is the day when we start learning to fly and I will be the first one to do it successfully. My dream is all set to come true tonight”. All the animals gazed for some time and started rolling on the floor, laughing until they were out of breath. Ruben was mad that everyone was making fun of him. He got out of the stage and though he felt sad, he told his friends “Ok, Guys, let’s take this challenge and see who is the first animal to fly on Earth

Ruben was so proud that he colored one set of paper wings and shared almost all the rest with his friends. One of the animals had an idea of turning the barn into Ruben’s Wingland. Everyone agreed and they colored all the paper wings and decorated the barn to Ruben’s Wing land. The next day people from across the galaxies, and all animals just like in Ruben’s dream came to Earth 2000 to take pictures with him and his friends and Antonio. They elected him the President of the whole galaxy. He was very happy but did not want to leave the barn. Everyone agreed and he lived happily on Ruben’s WINGLAND with his

Animals have evolved a number of ways of navigating the Earth, including walking, swimming, climbing and hopping. But the evolution of flight, the No. 2 adaptation in our countdown, takes maneuvering on this planet to a higher level. Flying not only delivers an animal from one place to another much faster than lumbering along with a pair of legs, it also allows creatures to escape predation, explore new territories and look for resources that might otherwise be out of reach. And although we rely on machines rather than our own anatomical abilities in the air, being able to fly has certainly transformed human society.…
