Imagine the life of a normal 16 year old teenage boy and all the feelings and emotions infused with this age, Now take this teenage boy and put him in New York City with a baby of his own on the way. This describes the main character in the book, The First Part Last by Angela Johnson, our main character, Bobby, was a normal teen until he got his girlfriend, Nia, pregnant and is told that he must now take on the responsibilities of an adult and stop being a carefree and innocent child.
