Fallen Angels, a story about a soldier experiencing the Vietnam War, has a relatable story do to the conflicts many of the characters faced. Perry, a Vietnam Soldier, had those impositions and there are reasons why they are problematic. One of those issues was when after Jenkins was dead, Perry was in shock of what happened while the other soldiers take care of the body as usual. In the story, the army was heading there way to fight off the enemy in Vietnam until Jenkins stepped on a landmine that killed him, so the other soldiers placed the corpse in the bag, and Sergeant Simpson and Lieutenant Carroll use the body bag as a stool for their feet as everyone went back to the hooch angering Perry.
