I honestly don’t have much to say about her article, other than to give her a round of applause for her concise evisceration of the protests.
As for my thoughts on this, I’m growing rather sick of op-eds like Mr. Blow’s piece, especially when they say “how dare” we care about what’s going on in our society. “How dare” we criticize social movements that interrupt our lives. He talks about the rates of fatal police encounters and blacks in jail without mentioning their disproportionate rate of crime commitment. He blows over all the important stuff, all the stuff that might lead to actual self-reflection and change, in favor of slamming white America and trying to revoke our right to have an opinion on black
