The four greatest Greek legacies in today's world are the alphabet, democracy, jury and the theater. The Greek alphabet was actually by the Phoenicians but they just bettered it. That Greek alphabet was used by Homer to write the Iliad and the odyssey because of this it was massively popularized which led to the English alphabet being inspired by the Greek alphabet. A democracy was inspired primarily by Athens and democracy translated from Greek means “people’s grip.” That democracy was later introduced to America giving us one of the best features of our country today. The jury system which was branched out from democracy didn’t make people give up their time having to vote on if a person was innocent or guilty which led the jurors to do it
