When communities get together, big things can happen. There are many ways I can help my community come together and use leadership, citizenship and service to do good. In National Junior Honor Society, there are five pillars. These pillars are; scholarship, leadership, character, citizenship, and service. Some ideas I have that use the pillars of service and leadership to reach out to my community include volunteering and being a good role model to younger students.…

I have upheld the Chanhassen High School National Honor Society 4 pillars of character, leadership, scholarship and service. I am currently involved in key club, rotary interact, tennis, babysitting, as well as working at the Big Thrill Factory, and it is through these activities that being kind, a leader friendly, and polite, truly allows me to shine.…
The four pillars for National Honor Society are scholarship, leadership, service, and character are essential to be in the NHS. You need to be a leader and set a good example, give back, have knowledge, and have good character to better the future. Being in the NHS brings new opportunities to better myself and the community. In many ways I believe I model each of these requirements, some more than others.…
The National Honor Society is a highly prestigious organization designed to acknowledge the most well rounded students within a high school. To take part in this important society, applicants must exemplify the qualities of Leadership, character, and service throughout their daily lives. These different qualities are at the core of my activities throughout the day and are pillars in what makes me who I am. As a result I believe I am a great candidate for membership to the National Honor Society because I do not only show flashes of leadership, character and service, but they are major parts of the person I am.…
I wish to become a member of Mullica Township’s National Junior Honor Society because by being a part of this amazing organization means so much to me. I worked very hard since a young age trying to keep my grades high and strive for success. This opportunity is definitely a milestone in my academic journey. I’ve worked for this moment and fell I would be a perfect member for NJHS because I have leadership, character, citizenship, and enjoy volunteering my time to others.…
National Honors Society has been built on scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These pillars are the foundation of a successful and giving lifestyle. Each of these pillars have helped shape my development, and I will remember them as I move onto the next stages of my life.…
I am very honored to have this chance in National Junior Honor Society. I have always wanted to be a member since I heard about it, which was 5th grade. Last year, in 6th grade, I saw myself being up there this year. I feel I have all of the qualities to have this privilege.…
The pillar of scholarship has influenced me since before I was inducted into the National Honor Society. From this pillar I adopted the attitude that every aspect of academics and knowledge requires the full devotion of myself and my time. I have learned that the true value of the pillar of scholarship is to educate individuals of the capabilities and success that only continuous education can provide.…
The National Honor Society requires many characteristics to be demonstrated within all members of the group. Leadership, service, and character are qualities we need to obtain or already inhabit in order to be accepted as a member of the National Honors Society. I’m happy to inform that i obtain these qualities that the NHS is searching for within all its’ candidates.…
Through the classes you take at school, you can obtain a lot of information, but there is also a lot that you can learn outside of the classroom. From your interests, the organizations you participate in, or even just your daily activities, you can gain a lot of esoteric knowledge for the subjects that mean most to you. I have gained knowledge in certain subjects and areas from outside of the classroom.…
Since its establishment, the National Honor Society has been built upon the core values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Throughout the years, National Honor Society has upheld these pillars, and its outstanding club members strive to embody these values in every aspect of their lives. However, these four principles add up to become something much more over the course of National Honor Society’s lifetime -- its legacy. These four honorable tenets are what constitutes a legacy, and I wish to become an individual who represents all of these core values -- and more. I genuinely believe that I exemplify most of the qualities that National Honor Society values, and though I am aware that I am still lacking in some, I will work…
I believe the National Honor Society, represents dedication to both an academic and societal life. The honor that comes with being in the group, is the same one receives from being a model citizen, filling leadership positions, and helping where one can. I think that in life, having this honor is the most beneficial thing you can have, period.…
The National Honors Society is more than just a honor roll, but an organization that recognizes the efforts made by hard working high school students. I would like to join National Honors Society because it would challenge my development in both my community and my school. The National Honors Society, consisting of over one million students, would make me a part of a large community that could create many opportunities for me in the future. A highly respected organization such as the National Honors Society is very significant to me. The scholarships and programs offered by this organization helps increase my ability to get the education that I desire that I might not have been able to receive due to the rapidly rising costs of college. Every…
Students everywhere are being picked for honor societies in their schools. When a student learns that they have been selected for such an honor, it encourages them to maintain their standing, or even find a higher ground. I, Matthew Hurley, was ecstatic to learn that I was considered for the honor society of Fairview Schools. I am now a third quarter sophomore and through my time so far in high school, I believe I have shown the qualities of a student in the Honor Society. I strongly adhere to the thought that I represent the four pillars of an Honor Society member. I have held my grades at a high percentage, helped my community and peers by doing service to them, lead those around me to become superior in their activities that I enjoy as…
