Change in living standards brings worry and fear into ones daily life. The short story, The Giraffe, develops close insight of my understanding of complexities in life. In particular, The Giraffe provides perception to complications such as, the difficulty of going into high school, and my extra curricular activity SHSM (Specialty High School Major). To begin, going from elementary school to high school was one of the most difficult stages of my life. For the first couple months in grade nine I was really confused on what was going on.
