The Giver's Utopian Universe
In a universe , in which all is one , one mind , infinite infinities - all is intelligent, wise , and perfect . Where everything and everyone is one - there shouldn't be hatred , jealously , and competition because everything is the same . There's nothing to desire because everyone and everything is the same , will be the same , or possess the same things.

If everyone is perfect , then no one would lack and want to be someone else . A great example to this utopian universe would be the world in the book The Giver by __________. There was no crime because there was no hate or envy . There was no envy because everyone saw the world the same .

I believe that there is not a mentality that could make this universe successful because we

After sharing, Jonas's parents ask to speak with Jonas alone. Jonas's father tries to calm his concerns by telling him that people are rarely disappointed in their Assignments, because the Committee of Elders monitors Elevens' interest so as to place them where they would best be able to do good work for the community. Jonas remembers the Committee monitoring his group of Elevens, but he is uncertain what kind of job he will be given. Most children are given jobs they show interest in, and so suspect their Assignments ahead of time. But Jonas has been floating from one interest to another. That the Committee takes personal interests into consideration when assigning jobs suggests that they want what's best for their citizens. The Committee and the citizens agree that the Committee will know what's best for the…

“Community, Identity, Stability” are the three words that hang on a sign at the entrance of the Central London Hatchery and Conditioning Centre. These words are supposedly the World State motto and the prime goals of this “utopian” society. In the beginning of Brave New World, Aldous Huxley portrayed the setting as a utopia, an ideally perfect place, but is anything but perfect. This novel depicts a complete nightmare where society is dehumanized, uniformed, and chaotic.…

If anything, and anyone was seen to be perfect, there would be no room for improvement. Everyone would coast through life in harmony and without any need for change/modification to society. While parts of that image are appealing, society would be stagnant in a seemingly flawless world. If, however, just the idea that people are born the way they are supposed to be was a universally accepted concept, then there would be no more struggle over rights or equality. Take, for example, the fight for women’s rights. The equality movement has been a long and arduous fight in which women have evolved in society from house hand to presidential election nominee. In the fight for equality, those who opposed the working woman have ultimately perished in the rise of women in the workforce, and the rise of equal pay. If, however, there was never the perception that women were inferior in the workforce, then there never would have been a longwinded struggle which created deep-rooted hatred for opposing sides.…

Sometimes there are pros and sometimes there are cons of living in a perfect world. The pros are that you're guaranteed to be safe and you don't have to worry about your life or money. The cons are that you don't have a strong family, you are assigned your jobs, and your graduation and education is poor. This applys to the audience because a utopia isn't always necessarily perfect, even though most would think it is. Everyone has their own utopia, but with every utopia there comes a…

All the members of my community would be treated with equality. There will not be one person that is more superior over another. For instance, If you have a certain last name in today’s culture you basically get anything you want. In my Utopia, each person will work to best of their abilities and the more successful they are the better the rewards and benefits they would receive. In my utopia, there will be enough jobs for every citizen in my community and the citizens would be trained for their specific job. If you work hard, you get…

However, establishing productive ways to deal with conflict within the population would help to create a more perfect society. In my utopia, I would create a sort of counseling system. This system would be a network of the most empathetic and emotionally intelligent people from within the society. Counselors would be nominated at a young age based on their demonstration of desirable qualities, then trained by those who served before them. As counselors, their duties would consist of mediating arguments, diagnosing and treating mental illnesses and learning disorders, and generally being available to listen to peoples' problems or help them work through their own personal issues.…

Utopia is an ideal to make perfect humans with in vitro fertilization. This type of fertilization is good if you can’t have children on your own but not for a perfect being. This is a very prejudice way of thinking if you carry this out on embryos it will hurt those who can’t afford such luxuries to become a part of this Utopia. If you use eugenics this is a plan that will alter embryos in the early stages. I think it’s inhumane to want a utopia because it’s not for anyone to change what considered normal there is no supreme human being.…

Thusly, because of unavoidable disagreements, it makes a community imperfect. Unless every man shared a single telepathic consciousness where all ideas and beliefs were the same, perfection in society cannot exist. Utopia literally means no place. This helps to make it clear that there is no place in this existence on Earth that people can live in total harmony and free of worries. In every place we look, there are crimes, hunger, and diseases that hinder any ability to form perfection. “Human action can be modified to some extent, but human nature cannot be changed” (Abraham…

My own view of a utopian society is fairly simple, a place in which there is no pain, no crime, no anger, no corruption, where there is no need for "justice", a place where murders would never take place. The government would be a public government, in which all citizens would take actions they make would be fair not ingnerent like our govement. Women and men would have equal writes and shar opinons. If a war would start in my utopian nations and friends and answer 'stop this is a place of love'.But in society today this would never happen. than society would answer the call to war and fight to protect their homes. Also i would try protecting my nation, governments, to help protect/uphold laws and to rebuild the economy. Every person would be perfect have a home, good education and health, and grow up in the safety of a caring family. In nature they would be no killing, food would be grown and not effecct the food chain and we would eat speacly bread animals.…
