English essay: ”The Go-Between”
On October 24, 1945 in the aftermath of World War 2, many countries united together and formed “the united Nations”. The idea of UN was to have an intergovernmental organization, with the purpose of secure future generations from having a conflict as the one World War 2 caused. This is why on December 10, 1948 in Paris, as a common standard achievement for all people around the world. But the question is now. Are these 30 rights being promised by the different countries? Unfortunately some of the human rights are not being observed and that is why there are many immigrants in for example in The United States. The reason people is trying travel from their own country to another is often because of poverty or war. But what is the reason having these common standards rules if people are not able to respect them? This is for many people a great deal, and that is why many politicians discuss this topic.
Article 13 in the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights” quotes the following “Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state” and “Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country”. These to quotes symbolizes the meaning of human rights, and are making clear to us, that ever human have the right to move free within the borders of state and countries. Unfortunately there is still many places around the world where this isn´t being observed. For example we see it today, when people is trying to move from the borders from Mexico and The United States. Here police cars are waiting for the immigrants and when the capture the immigrants they are being send back to Mexico. The question is now, why can’t the American society provide immigrants with food, shelter and a new beginning? One of the problems could be crime and violence. Another thing could be increasing amount of homeless people which on the longer terms
