The Goddess Of The Harvest: Demeter
Demeter, the goddess of the harvest, displays the character traits of a loving mother with a lost child. When Demeter is looking for her daughter, we see how much she loves Persephone. Demeter stops taking care of growing plants and agriculture because she is fixated on the loss of her daughter. Demeter wishes that she could have protected Persephone, so she feels guilty and sad and cannot do her work. Secondly, Demeter is miserable, and her lack of concern for anyone but Persephone shows how unhappy she is. People begin to go hungry, and she does not care even though she is the goddess of agriculture. If she were happier, people would not be starving, so her frustration and anger at Hades spread to many others. Finally, Demeter is resourceful
